Deacon Crunch Cookies
1 cup softened butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 and ½ cups quick rolled oats
2 cups cornflakes
1 12 oz. bag chocolate chips
Cream butter, sugars and vanilla.
Add eggs, baking powder, salt, soda, and flour. Mix well.
Add rest of ingredients and stir by hand.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
