Fear is a dangerous thing

Fear it can cause us to freeze and do nothing. Like merging on to the highway, if you stop you can`t merge . You have many more options if you keep moving.

Tapping the brakes to fall in behind is a heck of a lot easier than, drag racing from a dead stop against cars going 60mph plus. The truth is it`s dangerous for all motorists. The only time you should stop is when the traffic is at  stand still. If a had my way part of the road test would be merging in rush hour traffic. This means we would have far less drivers on the road. Less drivers equals less cars. Less cars equals less jobs, taxes, gas, tires, registrations , inspections and vacations the list goes on. Who would not be drivers? The old, a small percentage of men and a large percentage of women. So all the good mergers would have to drive all the bad ones around. Grandpa to the doctor and the store. On second thought, to save the economy  and my life. I believe I will just put up with grandpa stopping  on the entrance ramp, because some where there is a son, that is happy his dad can still go to the store by his self.
