What size are your bulbs
I went shopping for a ceiling fan a couple of weeks ago. Having already made the mistake of buying one with candleobera type bulbs before for a bedroom.
You see, if it is the main light source for a room the candle bulbs are just not bright enough. So I selected one, or I should say I steered my wife in the direction of one, that looked like it should take standard bulbs. While unpacking the fan I discovered I new species of bulb. After some research (I read the side of the box) I find they are referred to as intermediate bulbs. A size between small and standard. For what reason ? I think the small bulbs should only be used for candle like fixtures, night lights, Christmas lights and some small appliances. I also think the reckless cowboy who came up with the intermediate bulb should be shot. I don't mean shoot to kill, just the fleshy part of the thigh with a full metal jacket.
